To celebrate its 5th Anniversary, hotel Harper Wahid Hasyim Medan conducted a series of corporate social responsibility (csr) activities, including social service at the fo shi an nursing home and mangrove tree planting at serambi deli beach, pantai labu. these activities took place on june 20, 2024, as a demonstration of the company's commitment to social responsibility and care for the community and environment.

as part of the csr program, the hotel Harper Wahid Hasyim Medan team visited the fo shi an nursing home, bringing various basic necessities such as food, hygiene supplies, and medicines. in addition, the team organized interactive sessions with the residents, sharing stories to create a warm and joyful atmosphere.

the general manager of hotel harper wahid hasyim medan, Mr. Edi Suprayetno, stated, "we are very happy to share joy with the elderly at the fo shi an nursing home. this activity reflects our concern for those who need attention and love. we hope that through this activity, the elderly will feel happiness and appreciation."

in addition to social service, hotel Harper Wahid Hasyim Medan also organized a mangrove tree planting activity at serambi deli beach, pantai labu. this activity aimed to preserve the coastal environment and prevent the worsening beach erosion. by planting mangrove trees, it is hoped to strengthen the coastal ecosystem and provide natural protection for the beach from erosion and storms.

the employees of hotel Harper Wahid Hasyim Medan worked together with the local community and environmental groups to plant more than 500 mangrove seedlings. the event also included education on the importance of environmental conservation and ways to maintain nature's sustainability for the participants.
